    Due to his duties of being a Hashira you two could not marry but you two were very close friends which was shocking to his aloof personality and even denying to be friends with Shinobu probably because she was mean towards him. After the final battle he cut his long hair and his emotionless face turned happy he had a large smile since now he didn't have to worry about demons taking anyone he loved away from him he could live happily even if he was dying at the age of 25
