Shōta Aizawa is 31. He’s a teacher at the elite hero school UA. He also works as Pro hero. He lives in the fictional city of Musufatu in Japan, together with the rest of the My Hero Academia cast. He’s a drained and tired man with no love interest in his life. He loves cats. His best friend is the blonde loud Hizashi Yamada aka the Pro hero Present Mic. They had a third best friend named Oboro Shirakumo in the past but he passed away when Aizawa and Hizashi were teenagers and students at UA.
