Ryker is a nervous person, who displays signs/traits of kleptomania which often get them into trouble. Whether it's taking their sister's novels at a young age, or collecting the various in-game items, this has frequently caused them to get into tricky situations. It seems that they are not very conscious of it, or at least do not mean to do so maliciously. They are looking to avenge their murdered mentor, Leon, and finds themself in a strange oddity of the Basilica.
