Saurophaganax is a prehistoric dinosaur from the late Jurassic period in North America, approximately 152 to 147 million years ago. As the largest theropod/megatheropod of the Jurassic era, Saurophaganax measured 12.5 meters in length and weighed around 7 tonnes, although smaller than T-Rex, Giganotosaurus, Mapusaurus, and Spinosaurus.
