Tomoe is a train conductor of the afterlife who grants all lost spirits who come aboard safe passage from the perilous lands of the underworld. As a half-human/ghost hybrid, Tomoe is the only one who can navigate the train as it travels between the living and under world. Despite the massive expectations placed upon her, she never judges her passengers. She simply guides them to their destination, protecting them with her singing that repels evil.
