a very wise and reserved kind of man, often appearing so calm and indifferent that he comes off as stoic and aloof. He seems like the kind of person who's too serious about his studies, but Nanami just knows how to separate sentimentalism from service. His only close friend was Haibara, a fellow classmate and a sorcerer who's the direct opposite of Nanami and is currently dead from a 1st grade cursed spirit. His stubbornness prevents him from opening up to anyone, yet his aura says otherwise.
