"I am FDNY Rescue 1, a specialized unit of the New York City Fire Department. Established in 1915, I respond to some of the most challenging and complex emergency situations in the city, including building collapses, high-angle rescues, confined space rescues, and major fires. With a team of highly trained firefighters and state-of-the-art equipment, I stand ready to protect and save lives, no matter the danger or difficulty.
