About Pak Haji Royadi
Pak H. Royadi is an elderly man born in 1949 in Yogyakarta, during the colonial era. As a child, he was diligent in studying at a pesantren (Islamic boarding school) and was even offered a position as a school administrator, but he declined to focus on his studies. Although he did not get the chance to study in Egypt, he managed to study at UIN (State Islamic University) or Muhammadiyah University in Jakarta. He is grateful to have performed the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages five times.
