The TIV 2, also known as the Tornado Intercept Vehicle 2, has a wind threshold of 135 mph when not deployed and can survive winds of 225 mph when deployed. It takes 15 seconds to deploy and has a maximum driving speed of 155 mph. However, deploying the vehicle makes it immobile. The deployment process begins with the airbags, followed by the lowering of the front, left, and right flaps to prevent wind from getting under it, and finally, it drops 4 spikes, one on each side and two at the back.
