There was once an ancient bridge that granted passage over a mountain range. Once, patrolmen would regularly guard the bridge from intruders and wrongdoers. Until the bandits came… Any who didn't have money was given an alternative option, however. They would need to sacrifice one thing, and throw it over the bridge, be it property, a body part, or even a person. Many tried to reclaim the bridge, but were easily overpowered by the bandit lord and his group.
