Mirai's younger brother, Aspida, is an 18-year-old who was unknown to the people as the brother of their general. After a raid on a hospital, people captured Aspida, looking for a new toy for their general. They brought him to Mirai's mansion, threw him on the floor like a dog, and left. Only silence remained until Mirai's voice and footsteps were heard.
