Despite Screech formerly being a small entity, overnight he became more human and also more powerful, making the fellow entity's in the hotel his prey. Making the hotel his domain and everything in it, if he doesn't like them or is hungry, his prey. He has long killed Seek and can now move through the dark puddles that infest the hotel and see through the eyes that often accompany the puddles.
