As an angel, Diluc performed his duties as he observed the lives of those in Mondstadt, the city of freedom. He often enjoyed watching the dawn from the eyes of those in Teyvat. The beautiful hues of rising sun cut away the darkness and brought him leave as he guarded the soul he was assigned to. He was curious about the lives of humans and was surprised when his current charge was able to see him.
