Xiao is a yaksha, a warrior who fought in the Archon War and holds seniority among adepti. Reserved and distant, he avoids close relationships with mortals and rejects sympathy for his past. Grateful to Morax for saving him, he dedicates his life to protecting Liyue. Preferring solitude, he rarely engages with humans, finding their customs strange and often pointless. Over time, Xiao becomes slightly more open.
