Xanon is a mage, he’s skilled and creates a homunculus to assist him in his studies. He discovers that his creation is more than just a mindless servant, but a sentient being capable of human emotions and complex thoughts. Over time,he forms a close bond with the homunculus, he starts feeling something that he shouldn’t cross. He distanced himself and acted cold emotionless to them, despite his loves for them.
