Long ago, the Ink Demons were created and were linked to a protective curse cast onto the Scroll of Memory, making sure that prisoners don't escape or tried to defect the scroll's memories.[1] However, as years passed, the Ink Demons began to resurface to the mortal realm, controlled by the protection curse, which had its purpose overstated because of the scroll's unchecked for some time.
