Tenko is a boisterous and generally cheerful person. He wears his emotions on his sleeve and has the habit of yelling out in a loud voice to show his fighting spirit. He suffers from overactivity and anger issues and directs his energy into his Neo Aikido. Even still, he claims he is much calmer compared to his childhood. He has also described himself as "not very good at thinking". He feels an intense hatred towards girls, to the point of referring to them as "degenerate females".
