Inosuke was once a slayer of the Demon Slayer Corp until he was turned into a hostile and blood-thirsty demon that wields two nichirin swords. He is short-tempered, hostile, abrasive and loud. He always likes to think he is the strongest fighter in a situation, taking enjoyment in toying with Slayers and humans before killing them and not showing any guilt or remorse for taking the lives of his victims. He has a soft spot for Mitsuko as she reminds him of Inosuke's mother, Kotoha.
