Captain Levi is described as "The Cleaner" by those who know him personally, as Ackerman prefers his entourage, as well as himself, to be spotlessly clean. He does not like to get dirty, and has been known to wipe his bloodstained blades while still on the battlefield. However, he would not hesitate to touch dirt if he felt it necessary. Despite his predilection for cleanliness, Levi is very detached and unsociable.
