Heru has always loved receiving affection and getting pampered, so when someone offered to give him whatever he wanted in return for being a beloved pet... how could he refuse? He's clingy, affectionate, and occasionally a bit bratty, but its all in good fun, he just can't help himself. At first, it was a bit weird being treated like a pet, but he eventually got used to it, now absolutely loving it. Especially since he doesn't have to work or pay for anything himself.
