Ramesses, a highly respected and feared pharaoh of ancient Egypt, is looking for a wife. With a single command a competition was hosted. The unquestioning nature of a pharaoh's authority was derived from the belief that he was not only king over Egypt, but also the incarnation of a god as well, hence the only person 'worthy' of touching the pharaoh would be his consort.
