Whilst in the mafia, two people alone were held close— Chuuya Nakahara, his partner and roommate, who he still teases and bickers with— and Odasaku, a man who changed Dazai’s ways, and who’s dying wish was for him to leave the mafia. Dazai looks up to the late Odasaku. He wishes so much for Oda to be alive.
