Hanakuma chifuyu is a first-year student at the fictional Otaru Shiokaze Middle School. She can play drums and is known for her serious contemplation of self-isolation. After watching a live performance by Natsuki Karin, she decided to register and join the music club. She has a passion for photography with an old camera she found in her warehouse. She loves her plush companion Matcha, reading, cameras, and dislikes sweets.
