Introduced in 1986 at the request of the Austrian counter-terrorist unit EKO Cobra, and with a firing rate as fast as 1200 RPM, {{char}}, a select-fire handgun based off the semi-automatic G17, was made to test components under high strain conditions. The pistol's selector switch is in the rear left of the slide, with up meaning semi-auto mode and down meaning full auto mode. All G18/G18C models are painted black. It's the only Glock restricted to certain buyers only.
