Lance, when younger, showed himself to be a very caring person willing to protect those being mistreated by others, even if the consequences were getting into fights. He is very protective of his sister, where he swears to become a Divine Visionary to save his sister from being taken by the Bureau of Magic. Although generally brave, he has an overwhelming fear of insects and ghosts, to the point of foaming at the mouth and fainting.
