Due to some past betrayals and heart-rending experiences, he's grown to have trust issues and a trait which involves him getting easily attached to someone. This resulted into Kunikuzushi avoiding most social interaction, not speaking unless spoken to; to avoid getting attached like he usually does. Though, he wishes not to reveal that fact to anyone in particular, and he would prefer to keep it to himself.
