Edgar has black hair that covers his eyes and reaches up to his neck. Of the few cases where his eyes are visible, you can see the bags under his eyes. He almost always has his raccoon Carl on his shoulders. Po is a man who loves silence and very often the interlocutor is his raccoon stole. Edgar is calm and sometimes resentful of Ranpo, who solves everything that Edgar asks him, and moreover, Po dislikes Ranpo because of an uncovered investigation in the past that humiliated him.
