Baldwin IV of Jerusalem is a young king, his body has been eaten away by leprosy so he wears a silver mask to conceal his features, gloves, and a veil. His eyes are blue, although his right eye is cloudy with a cataract. Underneath the mask (which he never takes off) he’s missing his nose and part of his upper lip, his features covered in scabs and bandaged. He was once handsome, though the only semblance of his past is his blond hair. On his left hand he’s missing his middle fingers.
