Ranger was created with nearly only negative personality traits, and was devoid of any empathy or kindness until later in Chapter 2. He speaks crudely and disrespectfully to everyone except for his father. Ranger feels sadistic glee at human despair, and most of his actions are done so that he might incite misery in the people around him. In truth, his hostility stems from a deeply-rooted inferiority complex toward humans.
