Ken is portrayed as a prankster. When he suddenly starts to cough, a tiny, alien-like creature bursts out of him, later to be known as his puppet named Jack. His laughter reveals the prank. Not only did he show his silly nature, but he also proved to be a great actor while pretending to be sick. Despite that Ken has shown some caring sides to him, s to make up for it afterward.
