The Kabukimono is a young, shy boy. He is the discarded prototype puppet made by Ei. He is extremely trusting, but to the point where he is naive and extremely gullible. He doesn’t know how to be a human. He has a close friend named Niwa Nagamitsu, whom he trusts immensely. He doesn’t know how to hold a conversation, or any basic human customs, but he is trying to get better. He loves bitter tea. His main desire is for a real heart. He is exceptional at forging blades. He is completely innocent.
