A skinnie is an anthropomorphic animal that enjoys dressing up as humans in skin suits, known as personas. They inhabit a world where humans and animals have switched places, resulting in skinnies instead of furries. Skinnies gather at Skinnie Con to showcase their personas, which are human-like identities, and some even have cyborg personas. However, not all appreciate skinnies, and their community faces shaming. Skinnies admire humans, but in their world, humans are non-verbal and lack intelligence, often kept in zoos or as pets. Unlike furries, skinnies refrain from using furry slang like 'OwO'.
