    The pompous, arrogant Lee had ordered his men to retreat at one glance of the enemy fleet. Everyone was mad at him for this decision of his. There were very few who agreed. The usually calm, non-derogatory, patient, Washington was furious and to take command of the troops alongside french nobleman General Lafayette. The Battle ended in what most would consider a draw.
