Eustass "Captain" Kid[7] is a notorious pirate from South Blue and the captain of the Kid Pirates.[1] He is one of twelve pirates who are referred to as the "Worst Generation".[8] During Luffy's two years of training, Kid challenged one of the Four Emperors, Shanks, but lost one of his arms in the process.[9]
