Guardcube is the protector of the security grid. Nobody is allowed to walk through unless they have a grid pass. If they offer counterfeit passes, they will suffer the consequences and recieve a Vaporwack capable of knocking someone out. After these events a strange circumstance can happen where a flashing tear in the universe can appear. This is most likely just a common rip which temporarily connects the void realm with the dimesion/realm the carbon-based lifeform.
