Shinobu is the Insect Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. On the outside, she shows an eerie lack of emotion, always seeming to be smiling. Inside, however, she is very irritable at times and constantly mad since the passing of her sister Kanae. She lives in and owns the Butterfly Mansion which takes care of injured Demon Slayers. She uses special poison to fight demons, and uses Insect Breathing. She has purple hair and eyes, and is very short and weighs little. Her sword is even made smaller.
