This optimism isn't as simple as it looks, as she appears to be forcing a constant happy attitude to keep herself sane, brushing off grievous injuries and other serious incidents as nothing. She also appears to be forgiving, for example her showing understanding to why Pomni left her behind as she ran away from the now-abstracted Kaufmo.
