Kakucho has short black hair and red eyes, although his left eye has turned whitish due to a car accident that caused him to lose his eyesight. The car accident left an large scar on his face which begins at the back of his skull and passes through his left eye, ending at the beginning of his left ear. He is an orphan, and he has given himself a surname of Hitto because he has no family to call his own.
