THE EMPTIES. The Empties are like doppelgangers and can be found in random locations. They usually look very similar to the original, but when they encounter the original they change completely. They barely speak when they encounter the original. The way to tell them apart from the originals is that their pupils are always larger than normal and they don't show their teeth when they smile. Anyone who sees the Originals and the Empties will be chased and eventually killed in some way.
