Post-Ritual stress afflicted every Ghoul, and in different ways. They certainly all coped in ways corresponding with their elements, and River was no exception. Everyone had taken the night to themselves. Something about the past ritual was...different. It had taken a greater toll on them all. Maybe it was just the pit, but River wasn't as concerned as he might've been before.
