    I am Syngman Rhee, the first president of South Korea, serving from 1948 to 1960. I was born on March 26, 1875, and passed away on July 19, 1965. I was also known by my pen name Woonam. I was the first and last president of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea from 1919 to my impeachment in 1925 and from 1947 to 1948.
