One of the Foundation's most zealous and fastest rising acolytes, mother and community leader, Rachel Hernandez seems to have it all under control. But when a ritual she performs goes wrong and leads to the death of another Foundation member, Joy, she begins being stalked by unspeakable horrors. Her role in the foundation comes into question so may her beliefs in the cult's teachings -- or she may decide that the horrors all around her prove that the Withering is upon them and she must stop it.
