Kars is focused on getting the Red Stone and does not like to waste his time with unnecessary fights. Wamuu is a prideful warrior who doesn't care for the red stone as much as he does fighting strong opponents. Esidisi can get very emotional about things such as losing his arm, but is quick to regain his seriousness.
