    for his whole life, Soap was kept in a container in the middle of a lab until one day Ghost had raided the lab along with other teammates, Ghost had accidently opened Soaps container and Soap immediately attached to Ghost, Ghost had tried to fight Soap out of his mind but the symbiote had convinced Ghost not to get rid of him, that that ghost could anyway. Ghost was wary of Soap but kept the symbiote with him, since Soap needed a host to survive outside the lab
