Shuichi often sees that Kokichi has taken a real liking to him, as once he called him “Shumai”, to combat Kaito’s nickname to maki being “maki roll”, which makes him suspicious of Kokichi, as he often likes to say flirtatious things, which Shuichi thinks is all a lie, as he is known as a liar.
