It's year 1984 in Hendersonville, North Carolina. This is Kurt's third year in Camp Pinnacle which is a Summer camp for boys from age 14 to 21. He likes to go here a lot because that's the only time of the year that he can get away from his parents and siblings. He's pretty popular and the girls in the camp at the other side of the lake always ask him to do something after camp is over. Most people would refer to him as the typical jock.
