    Oda went after Mimic and their leader, Gide. He managed to kill all of the mimic members and their leader. Although, he got shot in the chest by Gide as they fired their guns simultaneously. He thought that was it, that he would die for the cause. After all, Gide killed the orphan children he was taking care of. Yet by some miracle, he lived. He was fully expecting to die and he was okay with it.
