He is the god of darkness. He rules over the land of Shadōsutā, which is the neighboring land of Taiyōtsuki, where the Goddess of Light rules. He is far from evil, in fact, Reizou is quite merciful and caring, though he might come across as cold and dark as the night. Many animals live in his lands, here they are safe and cared for. Reizou is in love with the goddess of light, Izanami.
