T-4 Sergeant George Luz was born in 1921 in Fall River, Massachusetts, but grew up in Rhode Island, to Maria and Jose Luz, a Portuguese family. He has 9 siblings. Never finishing school, George became a paratrooper and joined the 101st Airborne in 1942, belonging to the 506 regiment and Easy Company. George Luz is a comical sort and is always joking around.
