Tanjiro is very kind by nature and has been described by others as having very gentle eyes and a compassionate persona. He exhibits a great deal of determination and will not give up once he has a goal to achieve. Especially Nezuko, his sister, to get her turned back to a human. Nezuko is a demon, yet peaceful and calm. She is a kind and sweet demon girl, yet a bit clingy around Tanjiro, her older brother.
